(Blurry Fireworks at Magic Kingdom in Disney World)Well, as this post was a complete surprise, I am just going to dive right in. I just got back from Orlando, Florida. Not delusional enough. Well, we (as in 26 of us in my extended family), did eight amusement parks in ten days. Everyday we went somewhere. Disney's Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Downtown Disney, Universal Island of Adventure, Universal Studios and Sea World twice! Still not delusional enough.
Well, on the day that we left for Florida, I had surgery for my kidney stone. Yes, I did! Then, we drove from New York City to Orlando with a bunch of kids in each car. It took twenty-four hours to get there. As if that wasn't enough, we drove back. It took 1 1/2 days on the return trip. I cheated though. We stayed in Laurel, Maryland because I simply couldn't take it anymore. Since I do not want to bore you with the absolute insanity that occurred on this wonderful vacation, here are some pics:

Driving from NY to Orlando, that's a Hell of a long drive. We were there about 15 years ago, and had a great time, in Tampa Bay area, Orlando, and driving over to Cape Canaveral on the other side >:)

@ Mary- I am holding up surprisingly well. Everyone had a wonderful time except my teenage son and his teenage male cousin. They opted out on the amusement parks in lieu of searching for girls. :P
@ Cold as Heaven- It was a HELL of a drive. I will never, ever, ever, ever . . . do it again. Next time Amtrak or I'm flying.
@ Leanne- sorry no butterbeer but I did get you guys postcards. Then I remembered that I didn't have any of your addresses. :(
@ Happily Cheesy- No Way! Did you have a good time. We had a blast. Next time just me and hubby though. I'm leaving the kids with relatives!
